Frequently Asked Questions

Is Area 2 a guaranteed non-resident draw?
In most recent years non-resident regular licenses have cleared inside zero to two preference points, with Wyoming's 25% random pool producing frequent zero-point draws. Not technically guaranteed, but close to it.
How important is Walk-In Access here?
Critical. Private ground dominates the Powder River Basin, and WGFD Walk-In Access is often the difference between a hunt and a scouting trip.
