Gila River Corridor and Tributaries

The Gila River and its tributary canyons provide water, willow and cottonwood browse, and thermal cover. Elk concentrate near river bottoms in late summer before moving to higher elevations as temperatures cool.

Ponderosa and Mixed Conifer Ridges
