The lower cliffy flanks of the Pinaleño Mountains north of Safford produce sheep — scout from Stockton Pass and Jacobson Canyon access.

Outlying Bluff Systems

Scattered cliff bands between the Gila Box and the Pinaleños provide secondary habitat and occasional trophy rams.
